On Tuesday, April 16th, we had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of the Ejea de los Caballeros Retired People’s Association. Thanks to the collaboration with Berta Lambán de Volárea Ejea we made it possible for this group from Ejea de los Caballeros and nearby villages to rediscover the city of Zaragoza. For us these experiences are not only a lesson in how older people show an interest in heritage, but also contribute to enriching our knowledge with their experience.
Route by 3
We have combined the most popular routes, basic route, Gargallo versus Serrano and urban art to give shape to our new route through 3, classic corners mixed with innovators, buildings with sculptures, a new look to discover Zaragoza.
The gift of the Spanish-French Exhibition
Saturday allowed us to consolidate the route based on the 1908 Spanish-French Exhibition. We have commented in previous chapters that it belongs to the cycle A Century of Exhibitions, in this case within the gastronomic weekend Regala Zaragoza. We shared the day in the Plaza de los Sitios showing the legacy of the 1908 exhibition, and even entered the Provincial Museum to see its Renaissance courtyard and some paintings by Goya related to the historical context.
